We are horse people and have a broad range of expertise in many equestrian disciplines including dressage, show jumping, hunters, Quarter Horses, racing, polo and reining, to name a few. We develop strategies and have put them in place at events like the World Cup Final, Olympic Games and the World Championships.

Christine DeHerrera
Founder and President
Christine's knowledge of the horse industry is second to none. She is the author of more than 400 published articles in Practical Horseman, USDF Connection, USA Equestrian, Hunter and Sport Horse, Horse Connection, The Chronicle of the Horse, Sidelines and many more.

Christine's skills with the media were acquired first hand while spending many hours in pressrooms at international events around the world. She is the recipient of the 2000 Young Careerist Award from the Cherry Creek Business and Professional Women's Network and a past president of that organization. As a professional speaker, Christine gave presentations to the American Heart Association, Kaiser Permanente, First Data Corp., Medical Group Management and others. She has a M.A. from the University of Northern Colorado and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Colorado. After spending a decade in the hunter and equitation rings, Christine switched to dressage, where she has qualified for the USDF Regional Championships through third level.

Amy Borgman
Vice President-Account Services
Amy's wealth of international business experience and her lifelong love of horses makes her a valuable asset to the Equestrian Sports Promotions team. Joining us from a Fortune 500 Technology company, Amy is known for increasing profitability, revenues and customer satisfaction by developing creative solutions to complex business problems. She has worked in many countries with some of the world's most prestigious corporations such as Johnson and Johnson, Cargill, Wal-Mart and Shell International. Her unique combination of skills and enthusiasm make her a key member of our team. A seasoned equestrian, Amy has competed on the “A” hunter circuit and the AQHA circuit. Amy is fluent in Spanish with additional language skills in Portuguese and German. She holds a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Colorado.

Bronwyn Jones
Project Manager
Bronwyn’s communication and organizational skills keep the team on track.  Her expertise in writing and editing spans a 16-year work history at companies from small businesses to global corporations in the industries of news and print production, e-commerce and payment services, military construction, finance and accounting, bio-technology and information technology.  She was a corporate employee of a Fortune 250 company for more than six years.  With knowledge and experience in graphic design and copywriting in so many different fields, she brings reinforcement marketing skills to the team, but with a fresh perspective. Her experience in the equestrian arena is having been bucked off a horse so many times she couldn’t count, but she always got back on! 

Bronwyn earned a BA in Mass Communications from the University of Denver and nine different scholarships and awards along the way.  She helped launch and execute a national PR campaign for Levi Strauss & Co. and she coordinated and promoted the 1991 Hazlett A. Cochran Journalism Seminar at DU.

Karen Gibbens
Office Manager
With more than 20 years of experience in the health care industry, Karen brings organizational and management skills to our team. She holds an M.A. from University College at the University of Denver as well as numerous Certificates. She is a dedicated world traveler and has worked at the some of the top international equestrian events, including the World Equestrian Games. Karen's skills, whether interviewing a two-time World Cup Finals Champion or creating an Excel spreadsheet, complete the Equestrian Sports Promotions team.
